Brisbane based, internationally recognised Tattoo Aftercare heavyweight Dr Pickles will be returning to the Australian Tattoo Expo in Brisbane this weekend and offering tattoo enthusiasts the opportunity to get tattooed, with the twist being they will not know what tattoo they are getting, until the tattoo is completed and imbedded in their skin.

For the first time ever in Australia, dare devils in Brisbane will be treated to the opportunity to have a ‘blind tattoo’ whereby they put their arm into a hole and after telling the artist a few core facts about themselves, the tattoo artist will select a tattoo to suit the daring person’s personality.

The most daring of punters can put their arm in with not a word, and let the artist select their brand-new ink-addition.

Dr Pickles Marketing Manager, Samara Nilsson says ‘Whilst Dr Pickles takes tattoo aftercare very seriously, we are hoping that tattoo lovers in Brisbane have fun with this concept and participate in our mystery tattoo booth’.

If you are brave enough to get a mystery tattoo, they will be heavily discounted from the rate of $150 including a Dr Pickles aftercare pack.

A tattoo wall will be constructed so that the anonymity of the tattoo being created so that the tattooee has the opportunity to be delighted by their new addition.

Dr Pickles are also giving away a free mystery tattoo and aftercare pack each day at 4pm at the Australian Tattoo Expo, you can either enter to win at their stand or visit their Instagram @drpickles_ for your chance to win.

Along with the adrenaline pumping opportunity to get a mystery tattoo, Brisbane tattoo lovers can also visit the Dr Pickles stand to stock up on Australia’s best tattoo aftercare (which also happens to be made in their hometown of Brisbane) and see some of Dr Pickles Executive Artist and Pro-Team Tattoo Artists in action.

Dr Pickles has artists coming from around the country so that tattoo collectors can be inspired for their next addition by some of the best in the business.
