What is Dr Pickles Original Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash?
Dr Pickles Original Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash is a soothing aloe and hemp based, sanitising foam, perfect for tattoo enthusiasts to use as part of the aftercare regime to maintain their artwork or tattoo artists to use in studio to sanitise the tattooed area.
It was developed with tattoo artists to provide them with a compact product that they can use during the process of creating the tattoo to gently sanitise the tattooed area. Tattoo collectors are also encouraged to use it during the healing process to keep their artwork infection free.
Why do I need Dr Pickles Foam Wash?
The Foaming Wash is perfect to be used in the first few days of having a tender, fresh tattoo to gently clean it (instead of using harsh commercial body washes which can draw out the ink).
It can be used to sanitise your hands before touching your new tattoo.
It is also an excellent travel companion if you are looking to get tattooed whilst on holiday and want to ensure your tattoo does not get infected.
What is in it?
Packed full of enzymes, nutrients, vitamins and minerals, hemp oil, aloe and raw coconut oil – this tattoo wash creates a gentle, but potent, antibacterial agent designed specifically for the tattoo community.
The inclusion of hemp oil in Dr Pickles Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash means that despite its sanitising qualities, it is incredibly hydrating for your skin.
How do I use the Dr Pickles Original Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash at home?
Use Dr Pickles Original Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash to sanitise your hands before touching your tattoo.
After being tattooed, the artist will usually wipe down your tattoo with either Dr Pickles Original Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash or other sanitising product, then wrap your tattoo in a cling film.
After coming home (or within 2-4 hours) with a fresh tattoo, gently wash your tattoo with cold water using Dr Pickles Antibacterial Foaming Tattoo Wash to gently remove all traces of blood, excess ink and fluid. Do not use a cloth or aggressively rub the tattoo, only use water and your hands.
Pat the tattoo dry with a clean towel or paper towel and leave for the tattoo to air until the skin is dry and feels slightly tight, this will be between 10 minutes until an hour. It is important to give your tattoo time to breathe after it gets wet before it gets to the peeling stage. Most tattoos should get washed 2 to 3 times daily.
Use in conjunction with Dr Pickles Tattoo Balm for best results.
