Dr Pickles Tattoo Alley — Terms & Conditions
By entering the Dr Pickles Tattoo Alley and receiving a tattoo at any event, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
1. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to receive a tattoo.

A valid, government-issued photo ID is required. No ID = no tattoo.

Photos of IDs, expired IDs, or digital files without official verification will not be accepted.
2. Sobriety & Behaviour
-
You must not be intoxicated, under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any substance that may impair judgment or consent.

Our artists and team may refuse service at their discretion if they believe you are impaired or unable to provide proper consent.

Aggressive, disrespectful, disruptive, or unsafe behaviour will result in immediate refusal or termination of service.
3. Consent Requirements

All clients must complete the Dr Pickles Tattoo Consent Form before any tattooing begins.

By completing the form, you acknowledge that:

you understand the procedure
-
you are receiving the tattoo voluntarily
-
you have disclosed relevant medical conditions or allergies
-
you accept responsibility for your own aftercare
-

Refusal to complete the consent form, or providing false/incomplete information, will result in refusal of service.
4. Health & Safety

Our artists follow strict hygiene and infection control procedures at all times.

You must follow all directions provided by your tattoo artist and the Dr Pickles team.

If you feel unwell during or after the tattoo, notify a staff member immediately.
5. Refusal of Service
Dr Pickles and its artists reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if:

you appear intoxicated or impaired
-
you are unable to provide informed consent
-
you fail to present valid ID
-
the requested tattoo is unsafe, inappropriate, or unachievable within the festival environment
-
you behave in a disruptive, disrespectful, or unsafe manner
No refunds will be provided if refusal of service is due to client behaviour or failure to meet conditions.
6. Photography & Content
By entering Tattoo Alley, you acknowledge that photography and video content may be captured for promotional use by Dr Pickles and its partners.
If you do not wish to be filmed or photographed, please notify staff before entering the booth.
7. Aftercare Responsibility

General aftercare advice and recommended Dr Pickles products will be provided after your tattoo.

Once you leave the booth, you are responsible for your own aftercare, including keeping the tattoo clean, protected, and following instructions provided by your tattoo artist.
8. Personal Risk Acknowledgement
By receiving a tattoo, you understand that:

tattoos carry inherent risks such as irritation, allergic reactions, or complications
-
festival environments may contain dust, heat, sweat, and crowds, which may impact aftercare
-
Dr Pickles and attending tattoo artists are not liable for issues arising from improper aftercare, client behaviour, lack of disclosure, or festival environmental conditions
9. Refunds & Cancellations
-
No refunds will be issued for clients who are unreasonably late to their appointment or fail to show up without a valid explanation.

Clients who have pre-booked a tattoo and arrive impaired, intoxicated, or unable to provide informed consentare not eligible for a refund.

No refunds will be provided if a client is refused entry to the festival, removed from the festival, or otherwise unable to attend their appointment due to personal, behavioural, or security-related issues.

Refunds are only considered in circumstances where the cancellation is caused by Dr Pickles or the attending tattoo artists (e.g., illness, operational issues, emergencies, or situations outside the client’s control).

All other refund requests are assessed at the discretion of the Dr Pickles team, and all decisions are final.
