We have replaced our locally sourced, sustainable beeswax with an eco-friendly tree wax alternative to create the perfect, natural, cruelty free barrier for your tattoo to heal in. It is also perfect for use on old tattoos to bring out the vibrancy of tattooed skin. 

Our tree wax alternative is sourced locally within Australia, it is cruelty free and is completely carbon neutral. By planting real trees this wax offsets carbon emissions thus making our Vegan Tattoo Balm Eco-friendly; Tattoo enthusiasts can now turn their passion into a good deed for the environment. 

We’ve infused coconut oil with sweet almond oil to combine the moisture rich fatty acids found in coconut oil with antioxidant rich vitamins contained in sweet almond oil to create optimal skin hydration and soothing during the entire healing process. 

Moreover, coconut oil is also another incredible natural disinfectant, being high in vitamin E, it protects your skin from both free radicals as well as your fresh tattoo from infection.

Dr Pickles Original Formula Tattoo Balm:

Although our Original Tattoo Balm may not be vegan, we have done everything in our power to create a full circle sustainable product. We’ve sourced our wax from a local bee centric farm that works to stop pesticide sprays as well as planting flowers and vegetation for the bees to thrive on, therefore preventing types of deforestation. 

In Australia alone we've lost at least 10 native bee species since European settlement! By supporting local farms, we can work together to push out industries that harm bees by confining them together in small spaces, feeding them artificial diets, and over-harvesting their hives for profit.

More or less they’re a small voice for the bees and Dr Pickles is proud to support people and projects for a more sustainable future.
